Hello, my name is David J. MacNeil. I am fluently bilingual in French and English, with conversational Spanish. I work as a digital media producer, voice over artist, award winning writer and producer, and actor. I am also an ordained wedding officiant, available to perform weddings for brides and grooms looking to tie the knot in beautiful Costa Rica. Wedding officiating services can be booked through the Events division of my company, Maravilla Events. I am the Founder and Creative Director of Grupo Maravilla, a Costa Rica based creative agency, and I also serve as Creative Director of DJM Creative in Toronto. I divide my time between Toronto, Canada, and Playas del Coco, Costa Rica, creating work that blends strong storytelling with polished production.
For more than twenty years I have collaborated with corporations and production companies across Canada and the United States. My background includes award winning writing and producing, extensive voice over and on camera work, and thousands of digital media projects. Through Grupo Maravilla and DJM Creative, I lead teams dedicated to delivering high quality content for luxury, lifestyle, and tourism brands, as well as corporate and commercial clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy live music, staying active, long boarding along the coast, scuba diving, and traveling with my wife, Belinda. These experiences keep me inspired and continually support my creative approach.
